I specialize in tuning and swap tech support for the following transmissions:

Allison^®1000 5 or 6 speed: Put an Allison in a Dodge Cummins, behind a Ford 7.3 Diesel, Chevy V-8, or Fordcummins, and get it custom tuned via email. Do your reasearch and find find that my stand alone control systems are the best in value, function, and fit. If there is something better for your application I will tell you.

Dodge^® 68RFE 6-speed: New development is improving the 68RFE swap option. Put one behind a 12 or 24 valve Cummins, and enjoy the best ratio spacing available for a 3/4 or 1 ton Dodge truck with stock or mild performance upgrades.

Ford^® 5R110 and 4R100: Tuning service available as I have time, using the PCS TCM-2000 transmission controller. I no longer offer OEM Ford transmission tuning services using SCT, too busy with other transmissions. I have tuned hundreds of these transmissions and have studied thousands of 5R110 data logs.

Years of experience: I have been professionally involved with transmission tuning since 2008. I understand custom transmission control systems and how they need to operate with engine conversions such as a 12 valve Cummins in front of an Allison 1000. I am very experienced also with diagnosing problems that can happen with aftermarket transmission control systems. All of the experience I have has given me the knowledge to develop brand new transmission swaps that were once thought impossible- and since I really enjoy development I will continue to develop and test new and better ways of controlling automatic transmissions.
Quick response to customer's tuning or swap tech needs: The hardest time you will have getting a hold of me is before you pay me money. These days most companies are usually putting current customers on hold to answer sales calls, but you won't experience that with me. Some that are used to that easily misunderstand the difference in the way I do things to mean I don't want their business - that is not the case but I do have priorities.
Current customers are my first priority and that is why I no longer have my phone number on every page of the website! That priority can require me to make potential customers wait now and then, but those that are patient enough are glad they did. It's easy for businesses in my market to get too busy to give good tuning support or installation help. I do my best to avoid the "too busy" syndrome by not overselling my services, but that isn't easy. Transmission tuning and swap support is difficult to manage because I can't control when my work comes to me completely. Putting in place a customer service policy that distinguishes active and inactive customers helps to a great degree, and it's just one of the things I make sure you know before you pay me your hard earned money. If you stay on my website for more than 5 minutes you will probably find my phone number on the contact page :).
Custom tuning hourly rate: I charge $75.00-$100.00/hour for remote tech or tuning services (1 hour minimum may be enforced), depending on the system you are using. That's still under the average mechanic shop hourly rate. When you buy a control system from me I include a base calibration. These calibrations are set up according to the correct gear ratio and tire size for your vehicle, and the shift points are set to your engine's power band. Even with my base calibrations, some shift point adjustment is almost always needed to reach the drivetrain's maximum potential - due to differences in torque converter efficiency, engine modifications and even driving style, but I can often get it pretty close. Since I charge by the hour, you only pay for as much help as you need or want. I can even help you turn your computer on if needed. If you have wireless internet access, I can get on your computer remotely via a remote desktop session and set up your controller software and show you how to do data logs, all the tuning can be done remotely- right where you live.
No Nonsense, Flexible Availability: If you need help at a different time than my normal business hours I can set up appointments at other times, just ask. I do reserve Sunday for a day off with no exceptions. I say no exceptions because if I decide to make exceptions then there will always be an exception! I could promise you the moon and say you can call anytime before I take your money, and then not answer or ever call you back - or I could hire someone to answer the phone and give you the wrong answers or say, "Oh sorry you will have to talk to Jason about that, and he isn't available today" - but I don't do things that way. I'm an honest, no-nonsense kind of guy that likes to make sure you understand what you are doing and I don't make promises I can't keep.
